Our hybrid-format meeting officially launched the project

Yesterday, the 19th of February 2026, our first UPLIFT seminar has officially launched the project — and what a start!

From Meiji Tokyo to dystopian underground worlds, with our guest Aaron William Moore (The University of Edinburgh), followed by Serena Fusco and Gala Follaco, we traced how literature imagines the city across languages, periods, and media.
